Spanking...over the knee shame!

Marital Discipline includes humilation...

She was a marriage counselor who became infamous in the early eighties when her 'role-swapping'' and 'petticoat-punishment' regime was exposed. Her followers claimed that she was merely proposing that husbands and wives should confront their problems by 'walking-a-mile-in-the-other-person's-shoes'.

We examine her methods, particularly the ones relating to husbands becoming wives for a day, and her belief that men should 'transfer their masculine powers to their wives' to prove their love.

'Submission can be an act of love. And punishment can also be an act of genuine affection. Parents who spank their children do so because they want the best for the whole family. Women who beat their husbands are acting in a similar manner - they want only the best for their husbands.'

She insists. 'I ask all the husbands in my program to give their wives a hairbrush as a gift.

The hairbrush is to be used for domestic discipline, and it symbolises his acceptance of her right to punish.

The enormous significance of this gift should not be underestimated; it tells the wife that the marriage can be rescued. I tell all of the wives in my program that they must give their husband's a gift of an apron. The symbolism is obvious. The formal giving of these gifts, in front of witnesses, can be described as an alternative wedding ceremony. But in reality it is a new start for the couple, and it works!'
